EXTENSION CABLE
This is a hard to find FireWire 800 Extension Cable.
Why would I need this? This FireWire cable is used when a FireWire 800 device just needs some extra distance in between the computer and the device, but a replacement cable isn't what you want.
I see that it's a panel mount. Will it work with normal devices and cables?
Yes, we included the panel mount for occasions when you want to mount it to a plate to give a permanent solution. But this does not affect the operation in any way.
