LONG USB EXTENSION
Works great with interactive white boards
We've found that AV installers can easily fish it through conduit and install it into classrooms for AV equipment, including interactive white boards such as the SmartBoard. You can also daisy chain them with up to 4 inline. At that distance, however, we do recommend our version with the powered hub at the end to be sure you can power your whiteboard!
Enhanced Shield This version (part number ends in E) has an enhanced shield which gives extended protection against ESD (Electro static discharges). ESD is known as the silent killer, and usually very hard to detect, but very deadly for devices. In USB, it is usually seen as a 'odd' randomly dropped USB signal (noted by a ding-dong sound in Windows), and then immediate re-attachment. This cable helps to eliminate that problem.
